Peter Nilsson has been appointed new head of the life business SEB Pension in Denmark succeeding Per Klitgård who will leave SEB.

During the summer, SEB has appointed new country managers for its Trading and Capital Markets (TCM) business in all three Nordic countries outside Sweden. The move aims to strengthen the local management teams and reinforce the Nordic growth strategy applied by SEB.

SEB Germany has received a certificate for its family-friendly personnel policy. Representatives for the government gave the quality stamp, which is valid for three years, to Renate Bloß-Barkowski (center of picture), head of HR in an official ceremony on 11 June.
 

SEB Enskilda and its roster of analysts strengthened its number one position in equity research as ranked by Swedish institutional investors in a survey commissioned by financialhearings.com and local business weekly Affärsvärlden.

SEB has appointed Riho Unt new head of its business in Estonia. He assumes the position on 31 May. Unt has been acting head in Estonia since January 2010.

Annika Falkengren claimed spot seven in Financial Times’ latest ranking of the world’s most powerful women in business. She ranked in the same spot when American business magazine Fortune did a similar ranking recently.
