The brand survey conducted by TNS Emor at the beginning of 2010 shows that SEB is the most likeable brand in the financial sector in Estonia. This is an important change as the popularity rating has always been closely tied to the size of the market share in the past.

"Becoming the leader among financial sector brands is a great honour for SEB. Until now, the likeability of financial sector brands has been tied to the size of the market share, but things have changed this year" said Riho Unt, head of Retail Banking in Estonia.

Unt said SEB has worked hard for years to become a great home bank for its clients and hence more and more clients have chosen SEB as their main financial partner.

“The first place among banks confirms to us that we have chosen the right path and that the number of our active clients will grow even further.”

According to the TNS Emor survey, SEB ranked 16 among all international and local brands in Estonia, giving the bank the highest position among all financial sector brands. SEB’s position was at 15 in 2009.
