The rankings, published Tuesday, also show that six SEB Enskilda analysts feature on the list of 18 highly ranked individuals.
“The key to our success is the breadth we offer with a roster of highly competent individuals, including a number of experienced analysts that complement some younger new hires in an excellent way,” says Fredrik Carlsson, head of Equity Research at SEB Enskilda.
He notes that SEB Enskilda ranked number one in 10 out of 19 categories, the best result ever in this annual survey.
In a related survey commissioned by communications consultancy firm Hallvarsson & Halvarsson, equity analysts, corporate executives and communication professionals said SEB’s Chief Economist Robert Bergqvist is the best economic commentator in Sweden.
“SEB’s economic analysts are highly competent and I believe that combined with our significant efforts to be available for media and others have led to this award. We’re the bank people turn to for good advice and in my role as spokesperson I get to take extra credit for it in the ranking,” Bergqvist says.
