SEB Lithuania and Modern Times Group’s local TV3 subsidiary last Christmas presented ten children who needed assistance and raised two million litas for them in a charity event broadcast on national television. Now nine-year old Paulina has received a breathing assistant to help ease her coughing.

The device is the first of its kind in Lithuania and is designed to help people with chronic breathing illnesses. Paulina’s device cost 20,000 litas and was paid for with money raised during the charity event.

The “Dreams come true” campaign aims to be Lithuania’s largest charity project and a further nine children are due to receive aid and assistance under the programme.
